Antipasti are usually very simple dishes. Made up of only 2-3 very fresh ingredients.
The platter is a combination of a few different antipasti served together.
Thin slices of prosciutto are generally served with either figs or melon and grissini or good crusty bread.
Fresh, ripe sliced tomatoes are layered with buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil leaves, and drizzled with good olive oil.
Giardinara vegetables are served with ham or salami to aid digestion.
