Milk 500ml
Sugar 50g
Egg yolk 5
Corn flour 60g
Butter 30g
Vanilla To taste

Boil 400ml milk and vanilla on the stove.
Make a slurry with your corn flour, 100ml milk, egg yolks and sugar
1. Add boiled milk to the slurry and return to the stove.
2. Boil the custard filling stirring rapidly (it must boil or the custard will not set! If you do not see it bubble keep cooking)
3. Remove from the heat and add the butter, mix thoroughly
4. Place onto a lined tray and refrigerate covered with a cartouche.
