1 Flour, soft 250 g
2 Salt Pinch
3 Butter or Margarine 125 g
4 Water 40 - 50 ml

1. Sieve flour and salt
2. Rub in the fat to achieve a sandy texture
3. Make a well in the centre
4. Add water to make a firm paste
5. Do not over work. Rest 30 minutes in the cool room.
